Neste Slideway 68 is made of highly-refined mineral base oils. Special additives improve the adhesion to metal surfaces and give good load carrying capacity. Neste Slideway 68 has excellent friction properties preventing stick-slip. Neste Slideway 68 is compatible with waterbased cuttingfluids. Additionally Neste Slideway 68 has excellent antiweaar and corrosionproperties so it is suitable also to use as industriial gear oil (CLP-quality) or hydraulic oil (HLP-quality).

Applications

Neste Slideway 68 is used to lubricate the guides and sliding surfaces of machine tools e.g. planes, grinding machines, milling machines and turning machines. Due to its excellent adhesion and lubricity, Neste Slideway 68 is an excellent lubricant for roller chains. Additionally Neste Slideway fullfils CLP-requirements for industrila gear oils and HLP-requirements for hydraulic oils.
