Neste Turbo+ NEX 10W-40 is especially developed for the modern heavy duty diesel engines that have requirements of the American API CK-4 standard and European ACEA E9. It is designed to meet the latest and next generation engine oil requirements. Carefully selected raw materials allow it to be used in the most diesel engines as well as in gasoline engines.
Neste Turbo+ NEX 10W-40 exceeds the performance criteria of API CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 PLUS, CI-4 and ACEA E9 and E7. It also exceeds original equipment manufacturer (OEM) requirements providing high performance in heavy-duty applications. Additionally it meets API SN gasoline engine specification. All above mentioned makes Neste Turbo+ NEX 10W-40 universal in different applications.
As a Mid SAPS engine oil it will (sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulfur) sustain equipment emission control systems durability where particulate filters and other advanced aftertreatment systems are used. It prevents filter blocking and helps to maintain engine efficiency.
Highest quality additives helps to control formation of deposits, maintain piston cleanliness and keeps the engine clean. This gives reduced oil consumption and increased engine performance. High TBN delivery neutralizes acids, prevents corrosion formation and helps to increase drain intervals. Improved prevention of sludge and soot growth reduces viscosity increase and prevents oil thickening and filter plugging.
Its excellent temperature stability increases the lubricants durability at high temperatures and improves flow at low temperatures.

Neste Turbo NEX 10W-40 is especially suitable for the latest heavy duty diesel engines equipped with aftertreatment systems and EGR. Also suitable for older heavy duty diesel engines and passenger car gasoline engines which require API SN type engine oils. Please check your equipment suitability according to Performance claims and the Approvals in this product data sheet. Suitable for Off-highway applications operating in severe conditions. Especially recommended for Caterpillars that require the Cat ECF-3 specification. Caterpillar recommends that Caterpillar engines equipped with DPFs use oil that meets the Cat ECF-3 specification. Best choice for On-highway applications. Neste Turbo NEX is especially recommended for diesel engines where Volvo VDS-4.5 oils are required. Check your car's manual for compatibility. When using API CK-4 oil with higher than 15 ppm sulfur fuel, consult the engine manufacturer for service interval. API CK-4 oils are developed for use in all applications with diesel fuels ranging in sulfur content up to 500 ppm. However high sulfur fuel may affect exhaust aftertreatment system durability or oil drain intervals.
