Neste Turbo+ S3 10W-40 is special engine oil especially developed for high performance heavy-duty diesel engines that has requirements of the European ACEA E4 and E7 standards. Carefully selected raw materials allow it to be used in the most diesel engines, which are not equipped with diesel particulate filters.
Neste Turbo+ S3 10W-40 exceeds the performance criteria of API CF and ACEA E4 and E7. It also exceeds Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements providing high performance in heavy-duty applications.
As an ACEA E4 standard engine oil, Neste Turbo+ S3 10W-40 is developed for long oil drain intervals which is mainly achieved by using high quality base oil and highest class detergent, anti-oxidant and antiwear additives in carefully designed proportions.
Very high amount of detergent additives provides effective TBN delivery for acid neutralization, cleans engine internal parts from deposits and keeps engine clean by forming protective film on engine surfaces. This helps to prevent corrosion of the engine and significantly increases oil drain intervals.
Neste Turbo+ S3 10W-40 has very good high temperature stability thus minimizing evaporation rate and forming a protective lubrication film for exceptional protection at high load and high temperature applications.
Good low temperature performance improves cold start and sustains proper lubrication ability and engine protection until the engine reaches the driving temperature.

Neste Turbo+ S3 10W-40 is especially recommended for trucks with Euro 1, 2, 3, 4 engines and Euro 4 with EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) or SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) exhaust after treatment systems. Check your car's manual for compatibility. It is especially recommended for Scania vehicles that require engine oil with Scania LDF-3 specification. Please check your equipment suitability according to Performance claims and the Approvals in this product data sheet. Extended oil drain intervals may be applied as indicated by the truck manufacturer. However, Neste Turbo+ S3 10W-40 can also be used in other commercial vehicle diesel engines and off-highway equipment which are normally aspirated, turbocharged or supercharged. Note! Neste Turbo+ S3 10W-40 is not recommended for gasoline engines or for engines with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). The use of ACEA E4 oil significantly shortens the life of the particulate filter.
